A safe, supportive environment where grieving children, teens, and their families gather

Hope's Place offers a safe and supportive environment to grieving children, teens and families through peer support groups - which nurture and encourage safe expression of grief and loss. Hope's Place honors each child's individuality and his or her process towards discovery of resiliency and emotional well-being.

Sessions for children and parents meet concurrently: young people meet with others their own age, and parents/guardians with other adults. Children and teens are encouraged to process grief through the healing arts, music, dance and play.

Hope's Place services are free. To learn more, please contact Jillian at 873-3615 ext. 11 or jroy@hvwa.org.

Interested in being a facilitator? Our next round of training sessions begins October 18th, 2022! See our flyer below or contact Jillian Roy at 873-3615 ext. 11 or jroy@hvwa.org.
