Yellow Flowers

As part of our bereavement support services, we offer facilitators who are trained to host our various peer support groups and workshops offered throughout the year. Our staff and current facilitators run periodic 25 hour trainings to learn how to support others in the grieving process.

Our services are available for anyone experiencing grief, and would like an opportunity to connect with others in a safe and supporting environment. It's important to note that these opportunities are not counseling, but opportunities for peer support.

Support groups feature recurring and drop in opportunities. Groups are based on topics such as:

  • Partner loss

  • Grieving parents

  • Infant loss

  • Adults grieving parents

  • Survivors of suicide

  • 6-week general loss

  • General drop in bereavement

Workshops, run by our amazing facilitators have featured subjects such as:

  • Journaling through times of grief

  • Healing through mosaics

  • Memorial Garden creations

  • What to expect when your teen or child is grieving

  • Answering Questions about Wills, Funeral Options, and Planning Last Things

You can find our current workshops on our Facebook page under events
