CAMP RAY OF HOPE was founded in 1995 to give grieving individuals a place to come together and learn new ways to cope with their loss, to meet others with similar circumstances, to remember the special times, to make new friends, and to have fun!
WHO CAN COME? Families and individuals anywhere in Maine whose loved one has died from terminal illness or sudden unexpected death. Individuals under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

CHILDREN write stories about their loved ones, draw pictures, participate in arts and crafts, and go on nature hikes. They also learn healthy outlets for anger, as well as self care techniques.

ADULTS of all ages spend time with other adults in a group setting, participate in workshops, engage in self care activities, and enjoy the outdoors.

CHILDCARE is available on site for infants and toddlers.
