The Hospice Memorial Healing Garden is located behind Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area (Corner of Main Street and Eustis Parkway, Waterville, Maine)
The garden itself is an oasis, a refuge, a place for people to remember their loved ones. For those struggling with their memories and/or their lives, perhaps wondering how to go forward.
Hospice Volunteers of the Waterville Area will be offering a writing workshop in the Memorial Healing Garden on Monday, June 6 from 6 to 7:30 pm. Please join writers Sarah Kilch Gaffney and Emily Swartz for an evening of connecting, reading, and writing in the HVWA garden. Emily and Sarah will share the challenges and joys of writing as a way of helping with the grieving process and they will offer some favorite readings, writing prompts, and different writing options.
No writing experience necessary! Workshop is free. Please contact Susan Roy at 873-3615 ext 13 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to sign up for the workshop. The Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area Memorial Healing garden is located at our Hospice Community Center, 304 Main Street, Waterville, Maine.
