The Ways You Can Volunteer For Hospice
Hospice Volunteers are available to people of all ages who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. They provide emotional support, assistance with errands, household chores and transportation. Hospice Volunteers are compassionate listeners.
With your Hospice Volunteer you can talk, laugh, cry. Or, you can simply nap while the volunteer sits quietly nearby.
Hospice Volunteers are available to caregivers when they need to take a break, go shopping, keep a doctor’s appointment, go for a haircut, attend church, work in their garden.
Hospice Volunteers are compassionate listeners a caregiver can talk to, laugh or cry with.
Or, the volunteer can provide respite so a caregiver can take a much needed nap
Hospice Volunteers are available to family members and friends of all ages who are faced with a life threatening illness or grieving the death of a loved one. Hospice Volunteers are compassionate listeners one can talk to, laugh or cry with.
