Benefits of Complementary Care
Have you ever felt like a well that has gone dry? Stress can build up in your body. Come be nurtured, let go of your cares, take a 30-60 minute vacation and fill up your well.

The variety of complementary modalities offered can help to:
  • Relieve stress, pain, anxiety, grief and depression.
  • Ease life transitions.
  • Assist in recovery (injury, illness, surgery).
  • Support the terminally ill.
  • Resolve emotional and physical trauma.
  • Improve physical structure and alignment.
  • Strengthen the immune system.
  • Increase energy.
  • Reduce muscle tension and stiffness.
  • Allow body, mind and spirit to be relaxed, refreshed and renewed.

More about the Complementary Care Volunteers
The Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area recognize the importance of self-care. We cannot wholly support others without also addressing our own needs. In an effort to partner with our clients, their caregivers and our active volunteers we have developed a Complementary care network, a group of professional practitioners who volunteer their time and talents to provide free services. If you know you need time and space to relax, reflect and renew please give us a call.
